Connie Jo (Blagg) Hendon
June 5, 1942 ~ January 10, 2023

Connie Jo Hendon, 80, of Marietta, OK, died on Tuesday, January 10, 2023, at her residence. A private family service and interment will be held under the direction of Flanagan-Watts Funeral Home in Marietta with Larry Stinson officiating. Visitation will be held Wednesday, January 18th from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Connie was born June 5, 1942 in Ardmore, OK, the daughter of Connie Cecil and Clarice Julian (McCoy) Blagg. She grew up and attended school in Ardmore, OK. Later in life she moved to Marietta. Connie worked at the Cookie Factory and Pants Factory before becoming a waitress at The Hub in Marietta. She was a member of the All Faith Christian Church where she put her whole heart into being a member.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by an infant son, Baby Hendon; daughter, Dru Ann Hendon; brother, Robert Talmage Blagg; and sister, Tommie Cecil Harris.

Those left to carry on her memories are her son, John Hendon of Marietta; sisters, Sandy Kay Clark of Ft. Worth, TX and Kathy Ann Blagg of Ardmore; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Casket bearers will be John Hendon, Loma Harris, Luke Stinson, and Kaleb Stinson. Honorary bearers will be Kendra Rateliff.
