George Harding Henderson

April 26, 1921 ~ October 1, 2009

George Harding Henderson, 88 of Midwest City, passed away on Thursday, Oct. 1, 2009. He was born to John C. and Olive (Evans) Henderson in Minco, OK on April 26, 1921.

He was a W.W. II Army veteran. He belonged to the Maud Masonic Lodge also being a member of the Midwest City Lodge at one time with over 56 years being a Mason. He retired in 1971 from the Motor Pool Division at Tinker AFB. He was a member of the Heavenly Heights Baptist Church. George lived in Midwest City from 1947 to 1972 then moving to Maud, OK until coming back to Midwest City in 1996.

George is survived by his 2 daughters Linda Wilson & husband Don, and Georgann Warkentin & husband Don, 4 grandchildren: Shelly, Cindy, Duane and Darren, 3 great grandchildren: Britney, Brandie, and Sofi, sister Zonnabell Kuhlman. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Lorraine, 4 brothers, and 4 sisters.
