David George Helton

David George Helton
November 23, 1962 - February 17, 2015

David George Helton, 52, of Ponca City, passed away Tuesday, February 17, 2015 at Ponca City Medical Center.

David was born on November 23, 1962 in Ponca City to George W. Jr. and Anna Margaret (Mock) Helton.

David attended Lutheran Kindergarten, Washington Grade School, West Jr. High and graduated Ponca City High School.

David had always been interested and active with vehicle mechanics since he was five years old working with his dad. He has always had the ability to work on and fix any vehicle that was fixable. David was a heavy equipment operator for Tony Schieber at T&S Construction Company. He had attended Central Baptist Church.
David was preceded in death by both sets of grandparents, The Mocks and The Heltons.

David is survived by his son-Samuel Helton, his parents, Sister-Deborah Miller of Red Oak, TX and his brother-Darrel Helton and his wife Carrie of Chanute, KS and his companion Angie Galbreath. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.

Memorial Services will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, February 20, 2015 at Central Baptist Church with Pastor Lynn Schuyler officiating.

David may be viewed on Friday from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. at Grace Memorial Chapel.
