Clyde Leslie Helphrey
September 18, 1953 ~ December 21, 2020

Clyde Leslie Helphrey was born September 18, 1953 in Jefferson City, Missouri to Clyde Homer and Mary Lou (Smith) Helphrey. He passed away December 21, 2020 in Shawnee at the age of 67.

Clyde grew up on a dairy farm and learned the value of hard work at a very young age. He proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps. He enjoyed driving country roads, shooting, gaming, dry camping, and hosting family and friends for barbeques. He never met a stranger and was always willing to help anyone in need. He enjoyed Easter dinner and hiding the black egg that was loaded with money.

Clyde is preceded in death by his parents; wife of 7 years Tami Helphrey. Survivors include his sons William Helphrey of Shawnee, James Helphrey; daughter Patricia Helphrey both of Las Vegas; 2 grandchildren, George Clyde and Ivan Vega; along with other family and friends.

No service has been announced at this time. Arrangements were under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
