The services celebrating and honoring the life of Jacob Douglas Helms, 33, of Enid will be held 11:00 A.M. Saturday August 14, 2021, in the Brown-Cummings Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Bruce Johnson officiating. Services will be live streamed at the time of the service on the Brown-Cumming Funeral Home Facebook page. Complete cremation care and services are under the direction of Brown-Cummings Funeral Home.
Jacob was born May 19, 1988, to George Helms and Dana Hilton in Enid, Oklahoma and passed form this life August 6, 2021, after a brief illness, in Oklahoma City.
Jacob was raised and educated in Enid graduating from Enid High School with the class of 2007. He married Melissa Ramey June of 2010 and from this union came their two daughters Trenna and Bryleigh. He worked at Sonic drive in and worked his way to manager. He then met the love of his life Stephanie Collins. He worked for Richard’s Tree care and as a Mason. He began his career at ADM Grain three years ago.
His passion in life was children, he absolutely loved them with all his heart an took great pride in being a father and uncle.
He is survived by his wife Stephanie, of the home, two daughters Trenna and Bryleigh Helms; one son Ashton Vaughn Helms; his parents George Helms and Dana Hilton; one sister Joyce Post; and three brothers, John Helms, Jason Helms, and Josh Johns; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
Memorials may be made in his honor to the Helms Children Education Fund with Brown-Cummings Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds.
