Stanley Earl Hellman (75)

Stan, a resident of Saint Jo, Texas, died December 26, 2018. Stan was the first-born child of Earl and Ida Hellman of Kiowa, Kansas, and came into this world August 22, 1943, in Achenbach Memorial Hospital of Hardtner, Kansas. He graduated from Saint Gregory's High School in Shawnee, class of 1960, and attended computer programming courses at O.T. Autry Vo-Tech in Enid. Stan had a commercial pilot's license (taught to fly by father Earl) and was a certified open water diver.

Stan is survived by Daughter Ginger Sturgeon and son-in-law Lon of Meno, Oklahoma; Son Chan Hellman and daughter-in-law Kendra of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. He is also survived by four grandchildren, Joe Hellman, Haley Burchfield and husband Heath, Tyler Hellman and wife Devon, and Carson Sturgeon; and three great-grandchildren Jade Hellman, Emerson Hellman, and Elias Hellman. Stan is also survived by sister Mary Anne Scuderi and brother-in-law Ted of Mustang, Oklahoma, along with nieces Ashlee Scuderi, Trayce Hellman, Chelsea Marion and nephew Mike "Shane" Hellman, and numerous great-nieces and nephews.

Stan was preceded in death by his parents Earl and Ida, infant sister Mary, brothers Randy and Mike, step-brother Larry, grandparents William and Jenny Hellman and Pat and Elsie Johnston.

Stan loved to ride Harley Davidson Motorcycles with his long-time friend Homer "Sonny" Stewart and other close friends, travel, and spend time with family and friends. Stan's surviving family is very proud that he donated his remains to serve in the education of future physicians at the University of North Texas Health Science Center.
