Janet Lynn Hedden, 70, of McAlester, Oklahoma passed away on Saturday, May 22, 2021 at her home.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 29, 2021 at the First Baptist Church in McAlester, Oklahoma.
Janet was born on December 10, 1950 in Modesto, California to Gordon Leydecker and Venita (McGee) Leydecker.
Janet worked as a CNA for many years. She retired and moved to McAlester to be near her daughters and grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughters: Ronda Stuart and husband, Michael of Arizona, Patricia Leverette of McAlester, and Theresa Briggs and husband, Jeremy of McAlester; 9 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; her 3 sisters: Patty Middleton of California, Debbie Finley and husband, Larry of Batesville, Arkansas, and Jeri Bennett and husband, Howard of Arizona; along with numerous nieces, nephews and other family.
Janet is preceded in death by her husband: Marvin Hedden; her mother: Venita (McGee) Leydecker Smith; her father: Gordon Leydecker; her brothers: Terri Smith, and Johnny Leydecker; and sister: Jeannie Pipides.
