Leroy Heckman

Leroy Heckman
November 10, 1933 ~ May 8, 2021

Leroy was born on November 10, 1933 to Herald and Verna Heckman. He passed away at Greenbrier Nursing Home in Enid, OK on May 8, 2021 at the age of 87. Leroy was a kind and loving man who enjoyed spending his time with his late wife Jeannine. He enjoyed lifting weights up into his 70's and having water gun fights with his step-grandson Lane into his 80's. He loved watching OU football.

Leroy was active in the Air Force from 1952-1962. He then worked at Central Machine & Tool for 30+ years. He married his wife, Jeannine, in 1982 and was married for 38 years until her passing in November of 2020.

Leroy was preceded in death by his wife Jeannine and parents Herald & Verna Heckman. He is survived by his brother Sherwood Heckman of Bath, PA, sister Dorothy Eberts of Bath, PA, half-sister Donna Jean Walbert of FL, daughters Donna Morris of Enid, Debra (Buddy) Burner of Cement, OK, Carol Sue Daniels of IL, Sherry Thain of McAlester, OK, Barbara Cowles of Enid, Mary Beth Clouse of NY, 2 step-sons Marc (Laura) Tucker of Russellville, AR, Mike Tucker of Enid, 1 step-daughter Sissy (Kyle) Black of Enid, 12 grandchildren, 9 step-grandchildren, and several great grandchildren.
