Ronnie Heath

September 4, 1944 ~ November 7, 2010

Memorial services for Ronnie Heath, 66, of Thackerville, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, November 13 in the First United Methodist Church in Thackerville with Bro. Murray McMurray officiating.

Born September 4, 1944 in Shawneetown, Illinois, he died Sunday, November 7, 2010 at his residence.

He had made his home in Dallas for more than 30 years, then moved back to Shawneetown. He moved to Thackerville 1 1/2 years ago to be with family due to illness. Ronnie served in the United States Navy and was a retired painter, having worked in that profession more than 40 years. His hobbies were gardening, tending to his flowers, building things and being with his family. He attended the Thackerville First United Methodist Church.

He was preceded in death by his father, Arthur (Straw) Heath, and a son, Tyler T. Heath.

Survivors include his mother, Tillie Mayberry of Shawneetown; his wife, Marie Heath of Dallas; two daughters, Kelly Liddell and husband, John of Thackerville and Shelly Skelton of Alton, Illinois; a son, Seth St. Claire and wife, Chrystal of Mesquite, Texas; three brothers, Mike and Arthur Heath of Shawneetown and Billy Joe Krunk of Junction, Illinois; a sister, Carolyn Gillen of North Carolina; seven grandchildren, many other relatives and a host of friends.

This obituary included a picture of Mr. Heath.
