Marilyn Jewell Headrick
June 10, 1954 ~ January 31, 2023

Marilyn Jewell Headrick, 68, passed away Tuesday morning, January 31, 2023 at the OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She was the daughter of Donald and Mable (Banks) Headrick, born June 10, 1954 in Guymon, Oklahoma.

She was raised southeast of Hardesty, Oklahoma, until 1961 when the family moved to Elkhart, Kansas, and she graduated from Elkhart High School in 1972. She went on to further her education, obtaining degrees and certificates in Accounting, Law and Tax.

Marilyn moved to Oklahoma City, Oklahoma in May of 2021 after retiring as a professor at Lincoln University in Jefferson City, Missouri.

She is preceded in death by her parents; and her sister, Carolyn Nunnelee.

Survivors include her five siblings and their spouses: Donivan & Martha Headrick of Lexington, Kentucky; Terry & Sandra Cooper of Edmond, OK; Garrett & Sharon Headrick of Lamar, Colorado; Larry & Lavonda Wright of Georgetown, Texas; and Jonathan & Kim Headrick of Wichita, Kansas; 15 nephews and nieces; 25 great nephews and nieces; and one great great niece.

Open casket viewing for family and friends will be Sunday, February 5th from 11:00am-1:00pm at the Bunch - Roberts Funeral Home in Guymon, Oklahoma with burial at the Elkhart Cemetery, Elkhart, Kansas. No services will be held. Her immediate family will celebrate her life Saturday evening, February 4th, at Edmond, Oklahoma.
