Medford Daniel Hayes

April 10, 1950 ~ March 2, 2007

A private family memorial service for Medford Daniel "Danny" Hays, 56, of Hennessey, will be at a later date. Cremation arrangements are by Anderson-Burris Funeral Home and Crematory. There will be no viewing or visitation at the funeral home.

He was born April 10, 1950, in Holdenville to Charles Medford and Ruby Opal Smith Hays and died Friday, March 2, 2007, in Enid.

He grew up and attended school in Wewoka. He worked in the oil fields as a driller in the Weatherford area. He moved to Hennessey in January 2003.

Surviving are one son, Quinton Daniel Hays of Mount Sterling, Ky; four brothers, Bob Hays of Seminole, Tom Hays and Jerry Hays, both of Oklahoma City and David Hays of Terrell, Texas; two sisters, Jewel Babiak of Hennessey and Darlene Hays of Richardson, Texas; and two grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one sister and two brothers.
