Virginia (McConnel) Hawley
August 19, 1949 ~ January 3, 2024

Virginia Hawley was born August 19, 1949 in Cherokee, Oklahoma to Clifton and Gail (Sommers) McConnell, and passed away January 3, 2024 in Enid. She grew up in Cherokee, where she was a lifelong resident, she was also a long-time member of the First Baptist Church in Cherokee. Virginia worked in Home Health and did so for many years, and enjoyed spending time with her patients. There are no services scheduled at this time, the family will have a memorial service at a later date. Services and cremation arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home and Crematory.

Virginia is preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Virgil, and Robert McConnell; and her son, Danny Hawley. She is survived by her son, Mike Hawley, and his wife Amber; granddaughter, Caitlin Hawley; great grandson, Avery Hawley; step grandchildren, David Spencer and wife Patricia, Nicole Stewart, and her husband Alex; step great grandchildren, Emma and Charlee Stewart and Dean Spencer; nephew, Shannon McConnell; and great niece, Alexis McConnell.
