Mary Ann Hawkins was welcomed into Heaven on July 15, 2012 at the age of 78.
Memorial services for Mrs. Hawkins will be held at 2 P.M. Thursday, July 19, 2012 at the Oglesby Christian Center. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of the Stumpff Funeral Home & Crematory.
A memorial has been established and those who wish may send their contributions to the Oglesby Volunteer Fire Department, 27740 North 4020 Road, Ramona, Oklahoma, 74061.
Mary was born in Ochelata, Oklahoma on June 5, 1934 to Warren and Zelma Foster. She was married to Forrest Hawkins on August 2, 1952. They made their home in Oglesby until moving to Los Alamos, New Mexico and then moved to Houston, Texas in 1968 where they operated a metal finishing business. Following their retirement in 2001 they made their home at Joaquin, Texas. After Mr. Hawkins death on May 17, 2004 she later moved to Houston for two years until returning to Oglesby in November of 2010.
Mrs. Hawkins is survived by three sons, Robert Hawkins and wife Joyce of Houston, Texas, Warren Dean Hawkins and wife Barbara of Oyster Creek, Texas and Anthony Hawkins and Cindy Jones of Oglesby, six grandchildren, Tiffany Carroll, Candi Hawkins, Krystal Ward, Amanda Hawkins, Daniel Hemingway and Forrest Hawkins, five great grandchildren, Madison Carroll, Royce Hawkins, Wyatt Hawkins, Hailey Carroll and Colton Ward, two brothers, Warren Foster and Robert Foster both of Ochelata, sister-in-laws, Phyllis Hawkins, Patricia Thompson, Shirley Hawkins, Edna Foster, Frances Foster and Charlotte Foster, brother-in-laws, Jimmy Hawkins, Harvey Hawkins and Floyd Thompson and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Forrest Harold Hawkins and one brother, William Foster.
