Lenette Hawkins was born December 1, 1944 in Sedgewick, Kansa to Ethel and Leonard Adams. She passed away June 10, 2016 at Elk City, Oklahoma at the age of 71 years, 6 months and 9 days.
Lenette moved with her family to Elk City as a child. She attended school at Merritt and Elk City, graduating from Elk City High School. She was married Robert Williams in 1962 and lived in Fort Worth, Texas before returning to Elk City. She later lived in Sayre for a short time before moving back to Elk City to make her home. She worked at Cade's Classy Consignments before taking it over and renaming it Twice Around Consignments. She enjoyed visiting with her customers and operating the business until her health began to fail and she had to retire. Lenette loved fishing and spending time with her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Lorraine Denton.
She survived by her daughter, Kim North and companion, Cary Cox, 3 grandchildren, Jodie Tignor and fiance' Joe Padron, Michael Tignor and wife, Micha, all of Elk City, OK and Tyler Tignor and wife, Kaley, El Reno, OK; 7 great grandchildren and one on the way and host of other relatives and friends.
