Keith Anthony "Tony" Hawkins

March 9, 1960 ~ October 22, 2021 (age 61)

Keith Anthony "Tony" Hawkins 61, of Tecumseh, passed away Friday, October 22, 2021 in Shawnee. Tony was born in Shawnee, Oklahoma on March 9, 1960 to Richard and Sue (Boyd) Hawkins. Tony graduated from Shawnee High School, served in the United States Navy, was a police officer in Shawnee and Okemah and he was a deputy sheriff in Okfuskee County. Tony was also self-employed for several years and raised cattle.

Tony married his wife, Donna, January 2, 1985 in Miami, Oklahoma.

Tony is preceded in death by his father, Richard Hawkins, Sr and his grandparents, O.E. and Thelma Boyd and Lee and Avis Hawkins and a very special aunt, Annie Laurie Boyd.

Tony is survived by his wife, Donna Jean Hawkins of the home. Brother, Rick Hawkins of Tecumseh. Mother, Sue Boyd of Shawnee. Son, Austin and Kyra Hawkins of Tecumseh and Jimmy and Gena Rice of Prague. He is survived by four grandchildren and a host of family and friends.

Per Tony’s request, there will be no services. Memorial donations in lieu of flowers can be made to Shawnee Compassion Fund, a part of the SSM St Anthony Health Foundation.

Special thanks to Dr. Tony Haddad, Dr. Michael Brzozowski and the nurses and chaplains at St Anthony Hospital.
