Lloyd Darrell Hawk

December 25, 1942 ~ October 06, 2008

Lloyd Darrell Hawk was born in Guthrie, OK on December 25, 1942 to Burton and Hazel (Field) Hawk. He married Peggy Jean Countess, and together they had three children: Rhonda, Robin, and Tommy. Later he married Tina Bailey. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1959 to 1965 and was stationed on the USS Turner Joy.

Lloyd is preceded in death by his son Tommy, parents Burton and Hazel, five brothers Harold, Richard, Burton, Jr., Maynard, and Leo, and three sisters Wanda, Dortha, and Alta.

He is survived by two daughters Rhonda Henry of Guthrie and Robin Cornett of Cimarron, KS, one brother Jack Hawk of Ark City, KS, one sister Barbara Uhrig and husband Dennis of Mulhall, OK, six grandchildren, Josh of Scandia, KS, Jara of Tampa, FL, Bobby, Chris, Samantha, and Michael all of Guthrie, and four great-grandchildren. Lloyd was also a good uncle to numerous nieces and nephews and a stranger was a friend to the end.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 pm., Saturday, October 11, 2008 at the home place, 2004 West Washington, Guthrie.

Arrangements are under the direction of Smith-Gallo Funeral Home, Guthrie
