James Edward Hawk

April 8, 1957 ~ November 6, 2021

Memorial service for James Edward Hawk, 64 will be at 1:00 PM Saturday, November 13, 2021, at Union Chapel Church officiated by Jimmy Berkenbile. Cremation arrangements are by Cordry-Gritz Funeral Home, Hennessey.

James was born in Wichita, Kansas on April 8, 1957, to Earl and Opal Herrin Hawk and died Saturday, November 6, 2021, at Oklahoma Heart Hospital in Oklahoma City.

He graduated from Hennessey High School in 1975 and later joined the U. S. Air Force where he learned aircraft maintenance. He was later employed by the Federal Aviation Administration in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

James married Karen Markes in Chandler on February 5, 2017

He is survived by his wife Karen of the home; two children Ryan Ray, Rianna Sellars; six grandchildren, Faith Shults, Seth Sellars, Brianna Sellars, John Sellars, Christian Sellars, and Tre Sellars; one nephew Lonnie Hawk and wife Tracie and their son Isaiah of Chandler

James was preceded in death by his parents, and one brother Fred Hawk.
