Shelia Denise Hatfield, 69, of Stilwell Oklahoma passed away on April 27, 2022, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Shelia was born on May 9, 1952, the daughter of Claude (Jude) and Geneva (Youngman) James in the state of Kansas but grew up in Springdale, AR.
Shelia never met a stranger and, It didn't matter who you were, you could always have a trusted friend in her. She loved with all her heart, whether it was her family, animals of all kinds, and her friends. She loved being around her family, especially the love of her life for 25 years; Ray Mundo Gonzalez. She loved to do crafts of any kind, especially make and sell her necklaces. She loved to watch her favorite shows, go thrift shopping, and go on drives. She never gave up and put in all her effort even if the task seemed impossible. She always found a way to get things done, all the way up until her passing. She truly was an amazing woman who will be missed by everyone she leaves behind.
Shelia was preceded in death by her parents; Claude and Geneva, as well as her step mother; Priscilla (Rich) James.
She is survived by a loving family which includes her companion of 25 years; Ray Mundo Gonzalez of the home and his family, sons; Tracy Wilson of Harrison, Ar, and Gary (Toby) Wilson and Robbi of Lead Hill, Ar, daughter; Sasha McGarrah of Harrison, Ar, nine grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren, brother; Gary James and wife Phyllis of Clifty, AR, sister; Marcia (James) Barger and Patrick of Maryville, TN. Several nieces, nephews, and cousins one of which was like a sister to her; Mary Evelyn Jaro.

Public Viewing was held 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Thursday, May 5, 2022 at the Hart Funeral Home, Stilwell, OK.
