Nora Laveta Hastings, 81, of Amarillo died Tuesday, April 16, 2002, in Montrose, Colo.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today in Memory Gardens Cemetery with Dr. David Evans of Trinity Baptist Church officiating. Arrangements are by Schooler-Gordon Funeral Directors, 5400 S. Bell St.
Mrs. Hastings was born in Leedey, Okla., to Leslie and Nora Ruthart. She was married in 1943 to Van Howard. She later married Wesley Hastings in Montrose, Colo.
She was preceded in death by her first husband in 1987; her parents; and five brothers.
Survivors include her husband; a son, Gary Howard of Las Vegas; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a sister, Pauline Lindley of Fritch; three brothers, Gordon Ruthardt of White Deer, and Crawford Ruthart and Arlen Ruthart, both of Amarillo; and numerous nieces and nephews.
