On December 15th, 2016 Thomas Leo "Tom" Hasenfratz changed his address Heaven bound surrounded by his loving family. He was born August 17, 1941 to Leo and Ethel Hasenfratz.
He worked in the oilfield as a roughneck before coming to Ponca City, working at Whites News Agency for 20 years as a route man. He then worked at J.K. Boersma Brewing Company as a route man for another 20 years; then going to work at ASC "Titus, upon his retirement as a supervisor.
Tom and Pat Carter met during a "dragging Grand" event and were married 6 months later and recently celebrated their 55 wedding anniversary in July 2016.
They were blessed with a daughter, Tommia Lynne, the apple of her daddy's eye.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Leo and Ethel Hasenfratz and his Father and Mother in-law J.T. and Tressa Carter; one brother-in-law Maurice Grubb And his precious "four legged babies" Shawncy, Mandi and Joshua.
Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife Pat and his daughter, Tommia Lynne; one brother, Dan Hasenfratz and his wife Patsy, one sister, Sandra Grubb, all of Perry, OK; numerous nieces and nephews; His dear friend, Dean Rinehart, his coffee buddies at Woodridge and many of his co-workers at ASC (Titus).
Tom will
always be remembered as being happy and always willing to help, with a "can
do" attitude.
