Ted Lin Hartsfield went to be with his savior Jesus on May 7, 2020. He was born on August 13th 1949 in Wewoka, Oklahoma to Dorothy Jean Hartsfield and the late Houston Munson Hartsfield.
He is survived by his beloved wife and best friend Bobbie Hartsfield, his five children Jerrie (Tina) Sporn of El Reno, Oklahoma, John Hartsfield and Denise ( Allen Bauer) McAnulla of Larned, Kansas, Suzanne ( Larry) Kelley, and Jana Kowals of Oklahoma City, his eleven grandchildren, Lauren, Derek, Reyna, Johnathon, Conor, Jaxon, Jeremiah, Ahleah, Sarah, Jenna, Ruth, and three great grandchildren Elijah, Ethan, and Emerson.
Ted served 24 years in the United States Air Force and retired as a Senior Master Sergeant. He then then received an Associates degree in Electronics from Rose State Jr. College where he achieved the Presidents Honor Roll every year and was listed on the Who’s Who in American Jr. College Students. He worked as a systems technician for AT&T and retired after 14 years.
His life was full of many proud moments but he was always proudest of his family. His home was always filled with his children and grandchildren and his reclining lap available to hold every grandchild, cat or dog… all at the same time. His favorite way to spend his time was on a pier or the bank of a lake with his father-in-law or brother wetting a hook. He said it was where he always did his best thinking and dreaming… about winning the lottery.
