Vikki (Mingus) Harrison
August 29, 1954 ~ February 27, 2018

Vikki Harrison was born August 29, 1954 in Friona, Texas to Glen and Cherry (Smith) Mingus. She passed away February 27, 2018 at Elk City, Oklahoma at the age of 63 years, 5 months and 29 days.

Vikki grew up in Friona where she graduated from high school in 1972. She was married to Quinton Harrison in 1971 and two children were born to this union, Stephanie and Brande. They lived in Hereford, Texas for a time before moving to Wheeler, Texas and she worked as a teachers aide at the school and bookkeeper at the feedlot. In 1978 they moved to Reydon, Oklahoma and operated the Corner Post Convenience Store. She later moved to Cheyenne, Oklahoma and worked for Beavin's Tax Service until retiring. Vikki enjoyed going to the casino and collecting Precious Moments figurines. 

She is preceded in death by her a parents and a nephew, Nick Nixon.

She is survived by her children, Stephanie Harrison and spouse, Chris Lee of Cheyenne, Oklahoma and Brande Harrison and wife, Kellie, of Cheyenne, Oklahoma; 4 grandchildren, Blaine Harrison, River Lee, Kaitlyn Helton and Chase Helton; 1 sister, Glenda (DeDe) Nixon of Round Rock, TX; a niece, Kayce Stluka and husband, Craig, also of Round Rock, Texas; and aunt, Mildred Mingus; cousins, Gary Mingus, Janet Rose; and a host of other relatives and friends.
