Sue Harrison, of Pauls Valley, passed away December 4, 2018 in Pauls
Valley, Oklahoma at the age of 60 years.
Diana Sue Harrison was born
August 29, 1958 in La Mesa, California to Donelyn (Smith) Harrison and
Robert Earl "Shorty" Harrison. Sue grew up in California and has made Pauls
Valley her home since 1991.
She was a Cook and Food preparer and proudly ran the Cafe at the Walmart Distribution Center in Pauls Valley for many years and was a member of Christian Life Pentecostal Holiness Church.
Sue was preceded in death by her father, Robert Earl "Shorty" Harrison; aunt, Tammey Goble, cousin, Debbie Hengel and adopted son, Christopher Smith.
She is survived by: her mother, Donna Linder of Pauls Valley, sister, Terri Harrison of Pauls Valley, brother, Robert E. Harrison of Pauls Valley, her spouse, Tom Barnes of Pauls Valley; children, Christy and her husband, Neil Barlow, Travis Smith and wife, Uraina, Josh Smith and wife, Porsha, Jesse Smith, honorary son, Darrell Smith and step-daughter Amanda Smith Barnes all of Pauls Valley; and Alex Shiffer and wife Jamie, of Pennsylvania; mother-in-law, Judy Barnes of Ardmore; and sisters in law, Sandie Hull and husband Larry of Dixon, Sheila Carpenter and husband Marvin of Dixon, Debbie Barnes of Pauls Valley and honorary sister, Marylynn Anstead of California. She is also survived by her grandchildren and great granddaughter who affectionately called her "Penaw", they are: Payge and her husband, Seth Bittle of Pauls Valley, Luke, Mason, Elijah, Natalie, Briley, Serenidie, Addison, Bella, Zechariah, Farrah, Zyon, Kaidyn, Jordan, Mia, Kaitlyn, Madison and great granddaughter, Bentlee and one on the way; nieces and nephews, Joseph Harrison-Manley, Lane Hull, Angie Barnes, Aaron Barnes, Kory Callen, Kyle McClendon, Alicia Chaplin and a host of others who called her “Aunt Sue”; and was called "Mom" or “Penaw” by many more and never knew a stranger. Her love and legacy will live on for generations to come. As her life was a light to all who met her, she will continue to shine brightly in all of our hearts until we meet again.
Memorial services will be hosted by the family and church on the evening of Saturday, December 22, 2018 at 7:00 pm at Christian Life Pentecostal Holiness Church officiated by Pastor Neil Barlow.
Services for cremation are under the direction of Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home.
