Harris, William E. 'Bill', 80, of Midwest City, passed away July 24, 2009 at his residence. Born December 2, 1928 in Oklahoma City to Fred and Clarice Harris.
Bill enjoyed fishing, camping, and spending time with his family. Bill had two specific passions in life. One was that he was an excellent carpenter and had the joy of building homes for many of his loved ones. During that time they shared many special memories. The second was his love for fine automobiles. He was particularly proud of his 1970 Chevy pick up truck.
After serving in the US Navy, Bill was a superintendent for a construction company in which he later retired.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents, 6 brothers, 5 sisters, and one son, Carl Harris.
Bill is survived by his wife of 57 years, Betty, children, Steve Harris and wife Patti, Warren Harris and wife Pam and Rhonda Lattin and husband Travis, grandchildren, Shelly, Amy, Chad, Brad, Kevin, Connie, Joe and Steve, great grandchildren, Baylor, Caden, Isabella, Grayson, Shelby, Colby, Nikki, Kevin Ray, Kauni and Frankie, mother in law, Marie Taylor and numerous nieces and nephews.
Bill never met a stranger, he was a friend to all and will be greatly missed.
