Treuasa Sue (Sweat) Harris

September 12, 1947 ~ May 23, 2026

Treuasa S. Harris (Sweat) was born in Duncan, Oklahoma on September 12, 1947 to Claud and Eunice Sweat and passed away Saturday, May 23, 2026 to be with her Lord. She loved going to church. Treuasa lived in Duncan all her life. She graduated from Marlow High School in 1967 and married the love of her life, Kenny Harris. For years, she worked as the secretary with him and their son to start Ken's Electric.

She loved people and loved selling fireworks. She did that for years. Everybody called her the "Firecracker Lady", and she loved it.

She is survived by her loving husband, Kenny Harris; one son, Jerry D. Harris and Judy; one daughter, Tracy S. Doucet (Harris) and Tolly; granddaughter, Brittany Gourney (Doucet) and husband Blake; granddaughter, Bryton Doucet; one great-grandson, Braxton Gourney; and one sister, Twilla Gardner (Sweat).

She was preceded in death by her father, Claud W. Sweat, and mother, Eunice Sweat; and her brothers: Weldon Sweat, Martin Sweat and wife Linda, Troy Lee Sweat, and Calvin Sweat.

A memorial service is planned for 10:00 A.M., Friday, June 5, in the Whitt Funeral Home Chapel.
