Marian Jeannette (Marrs) Harris, a Coalgate resident, was born on July 23, 1949, to Gerald Ray and Merlon Pratt (Blankenship) Marrs, at Dallas, TX. She passed away on February 17, 2024 at Sherman, Texas, at the age of 74 years, 6 months and 25 days. Marian attended Duncanville Schools. She was a homemaker. Marian married Curtis Harris on August 9, 1980, at Denton, Texas. They celebrated 19 years together before his passing on January 14, 2000. She was of the Baptist faith. Marian liked doing cross stitch and she loved to read. Her favorite times were spent with her grandchildren.
