Lloyd “Butch” Harris

August 9, 1952 ~ July 4, 2002

Services for Lloyd “Butch” Harris, 49, of Stephenville, Texas, were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 6, in the Stephenville Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Pete Pharis officiating.

Mr. Harris was born August 9, 1952, at Stephenville, the son of Lloyd D. and Polly (Shannon) Harris. He died Thursday, July 4, 2002, at Harris Methodist Hospital in Stephenville.

He and Donna Reed were married on November 8, 1980, in Denton, Texas. Mr. Harris was a member of the Selden Baptist Church and had lived in Stephenville for the past 10 years. He was an engineer and worked several years at Nortons.

Survivors include his wife, Donna, of the home; two daughters, Rebecca Harris and Amber Harris of Stephenville; a sister, Elaine Kay Harris of Stephenville; an aunt, Kate Roderick of Stephenville; and several cousins.

Mr. Harris was preceded in death by his parents.

Interment was in West End Cemetery, Stephenville, under the direction of Stephenville Funeral Home.
