Judy Anne Harris was born on July 1, 1944, to John Franklin and Rossie Mae Williams. She departed this life on July 22, 2023, at the age of 79, in Tulsa, OK.
Judy, a Depew area resident was raised in Kellyville, OK, and attended Kellyville Schools. On April 25th, 1964, Judy was united in marriage to Delmar (Dickie) Harris. To this union in marriage, Judy had six sons and one daughter. Jeff Harris of Terlton, OK, Mike Harris of Sparks, OK, Roger Harris and wife Shelly Harris of Stroud, OK, Richard Harris and wife Tammie Harris of Wellston, OK, Jerry Harris of Ada, OK, Shawn Harris wife Denisha Harris of Stroud, OK, Kerry Guthrie and husband Paul Guthrie of Bristow, OK. Judy had 24 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Judy worked as a cook for Gypsy Public Schools for many years while her children attended school. She later worked for Stroud Garment Factory. She was best known for her amazing ability to cook whatever she set her mind to. Judy loved to sew, read, and most of all she loved her husband, children, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchild. She will be missed by many that knew her.
Judy leaves behind her husband of 59 years, Delmar (Dickie) Harris, her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchild, and one sister Margaret of Adair, OK. She is preceded in death by her parents; 3 brothers, John, Hershal, and Randall; 5 sisters Cora, Maxine, Ramona, Charlene, and Georgia Evylynne; and one grandchild, Blake Even Harris.
