Connie Maxine Harris was born to Nannie Elizabeth Harris and Lewis Alvin Harris on June 30, 1949 in Mooreland, Oklahoma.
She was called home to be with her beloved father and mother, and her heavenly Father on August 3, 2012.
Connie is survived by her three children and their spouses, Chris and Sarah Hooten, and their daughter, Cheyenne, of Dacoma, Ginny Miner and her children, Kidd, Tamantha and Orrin, all of Alva, and Benjamin and Terri and and his children, Cole and Raegen, all of Waynoka, three sisters, Alma Jean Harris McKenzie and her husband Jim, of Quinlan, Texas, Lois Day, and her husband Hershal of Garland, Texas, Virginia Bechtel of Texas; two brothers, James Harris of Norman, Berle Harris and his wife Joyce of Chelan, Washington; several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Connie had many friends she held close to her heart, including Patsy Cook Bixler, of Waynoka and Dorothy Day, from Texas.
Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to Wharton Funeral Chapel to help with funeral expenses.
