Capron – Lawrence E. Harrington, 85, died early Sunday in an Alva hospital. A wake service will be at 7 PM today in the Wharton Mortuary Chapel in Alva. Mass of the Resurrection will be at 10 AM Tuesday in Sacred Heart Catholic Church at Alva with the Rev. Edd Prather, pastor, as celebrant. Burial will be in the Hardtner, Kansas, Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Maude; a daughter, Mrs. Kenneth (Louise) Foster, Hardtner, Kansas; three grandson; three great – grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Porter, Alva; and two brothers, C. J. and C. T., both of Alva.
He was preceded in death by a sister, September 6, 1979, and a brother.
