Mike Harrington, age 64 of Wayne, passed away Thursday December 11, 2019.
James Michael Harrington was born May 19, 1955 in Fort Campbell, KY, the middle child of three children born to Virgil Corby Harrington and Helen Louise (Brakefield) Harrington.
The son of a career military man, Mike and family moved from base to base during his younger years. They returned to Oklahoma and settled in Wayne in 1967. He later hauled rock with his cousin Steve Brakefield until a motorcycle accident in 1985. Mike faced many obstacles and overcame many challenges in learning to deal with his disability, but he remained positive in the daily challenges.
