Angela Denise Harmon passed from this life on March 28, 2025, at the age of 62 in Cleveland, Oklahoma.
Angie was born on February 8, 1963, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, the daughter of Samuel Joseph and Janet Rae (Anderson) Pierce. Angie grew up and attended elementary school in Tulsa, Oklahoma, but later moved to Cleveland during her high school years, graduating with the Class of 1981. While in high school, Angie worked at Sonic, and after graduation, she began working at Walmart. In 1984, Angie began helping her mother at Janet's Flowers for many years.
On May 18, 1984, Angie was united in marriage to George L. Harmon. The couple made their home in Gentry, Arkansas, before moving to Cleveland in 1997. For many years, Angie and George traveled following the pipeline before retiring in 2024 and returning to their home in Cleveland.
Angie was a vibrant spirit who filled the lives of those around her with joy and laughter. Her profound love for life was evident in every interaction, whether with family, friends, or strangers. Angie cherished her time with loved ones, often brightening gatherings with her infectious laughter and warm smile.An avid traveler, she had a special fondness for visiting places like Las Vegas, Wyoming, and Eureka Springs. Among her most treasured experiences were her stays at the Crescent Hotel, driven by her fascination with the supernatural that lingered in its storied halls.
Known for her passion for shopping, Angie had an eye for delightful trinkets and was always on the lookout for magnificent pieces of jewelry that showcased her vibrant personality. Halloween was a holiday she embraced with unparalleled enthusiasm; she loved her role as the "Hostess with the Mostess," creating memorable experiences for her friends and family.
A talented cook, Angie took pride in crafting delicious meals, often preparing special dishes that brought her loved ones together. She regarded raising her children as her greatest achievement, instilling in them the values of hard work and the importance of becoming productive members of society.As we remember Angie, we reflect on the laughter, love, and moments of joy she generously shared. She will be dearly missed, but her spirit will forever remain in the cherished memories of her family and friends.
Survivors are her husband, George; two children, Brad Harmon and wife Amanda of Cleveland, Oklahoma, and Lindsey Harmon in Dickinson, Texas; father, Sam Pierce, of Cleveland, Oklahoma; one brother, Randall Pierce and wife Elizabeth of Cleveland, Oklahoma; granddaughter Evelynn Harmon; nephews and nieces Christopher Pierce, Samuel Pierce, Joe Harmon, Staci Harmon, Jennifer Lancaster, Christy Cantrell, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Angie was preceded in death by her mother, Janet Pierce.
Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 2, 2025, at the Western Heights Baptist Church, with Pastor David Head and Father Bruce Brosnahan officiating. Chapman-Black Funeral Home will handle the arrangements. A reception will follow in honor of Angie at the Cleveland Community Center.
