Jennie Lea Harman, age 59, of Guthrie, OK passed away from this life Friday, June 17, 2011 at her home. She was the daughter of Harold and Helen Hawk, wife of the late Jim Harman, mother of Matthew York, Celia Harman, and the late James Charlie Harman II.
She was a believer in the Christian faith and was a very proud registered nurse. She dedicated her life to the care and education of others. Her daughter Celia was the light of her life and the apple of her eye and in turn, Celia dedicated her life to the care of her mother
She went to Heaven to be with the ones she loved very much, who went to Heaven before her: husband James "Jim" Harman, infant son James Charlie Harman II, parents Harold and Helen Hawk, sister Marie Elane Kime, and grandparents Burton and Marie Hawk.
Survivors include son Matthew York of Enid, OK; daughter Celia Grace Harman of Guthrie; two brothers Steven Hawk and wife Marcia of Dalhonga, GA and Jon Hawk and wife Angie of Lily, KY; and one sister Kelly Kevek of Perry, OK.
Memorial services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, June 22, 2011 at Mineral Wells Park at the gazebo with Jolie Kime directing and her brothers, Steven Hawk and Jon Hawk officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Smith-Gallo Funeral Home, Guthrie.
