James Eugene Hardin was born on April 12, 1955 in Dunlap, Tennessee to James Fitzgerald and Nancy Almeda Hardin. He died on September 23, 2012 in Geronimo, Oklahoma at the age of 57.
James was raised in TN where he graduated from high school. He attended Oklahoma University a couple of years and left college to pursue a career in music and auto sales.
He played with several high end bands and with Stevie Ray Vaughn during his musician period, but eventually became a full time car salesman.
He married Teri Garrett in 1983 at Mustang, OK.
His sales career took him to several locations, including Dallas, Vernon, and finally Lawton in 1996. James was forced into an early retirement due to health issues.
He enjoyed spending leisure time with his family, bowling with his daughter Jamie, and listening to music.
James was preceded in death by his step father, Laddie Rezac; his grandparents, and several uncles.
Survivors include his daughter, Jamie Hardin and her son Jason of Humble, TX; his mother, Nancy Rezac of Geronimo, OK; 3 brothers, Roy Lee Rezac and his wife Trina, Eddie Rezac and wife Shannan, all of Geronimo, and Jackie Rezac of Lawton; 5 nieces, Krissy Simmons and husband Jed of Geronimo, Jennifer Rezac and Chloe Rezac of Lawton, and Chelsea Jirtle and Cheyenne Jirtle, both of Geronimo; 2 nephews, Cody Rezac and Jordan Jirtle of Geronimo; great nieces, Addison and Kylie, and great nephew, Aiden. James was blessed with many wonderful friends and family members he loved very dearly.
