Donald L. Hardgrave

September 30, 1939 ~ August 30, 1999

Marshall, Texas – Mass of Christian Burial for Donald L. Hardgrave, 59, was 10 AM Thursday, September 2, 1999, at in St. Joseph Catholic Church in Marshall. The Rev. Ron Diegel officiated. Burial followed in St. Joseph's Cemetery under direction of Sullivan Funeral Home.

He was born September 30, 1939, in Enid to Glenn and Ruby Watts Hardgrave and died Monday, August 30, 1999, at Marshall Regional Medical Center after a lengthy illness.

He attended Enid schools and Fullerton State University. He served in the Oklahoma National Guard.

On October 19, 1963, he married Margaret Wydeven in Palm Springs, California. He was a sales representative for Boy Scouts of America from 1968 to 1997, and was a professional singer for many years.

He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Marshall. He was district executive for Boy Scouts of America for six years, a camp director at Pirtle Scout Camp, a former Rotary Club member, a member of Knights of Columbus and an Eagle Scout.

He is survived by his wife, Margaret of Marshall; two daughters, Angela Hudson of Marshall and Glenda Hardgrave; and three grandchildren.
