Thelma Marie (Bowers) Hansen

Thelma Marie Hansen, 92, of Perry passed from this life on Aug 13, 2016. Services have been entrusted to the care of Palmer Marler Funeral Home and a memorial service celebrating her life will be held on Saturday, August 27, 2016 at 1pm at the Palmer Marler Funeral Home Chapel in Perry.

Thelma was born on November 21, 1923 near Perry to Harry and Mary (Palovik) Bowers. She married Lawrence LaVerne Hansen on May 31, 1941. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, and playing bingo. Thelma was preceded in death by her husband Lawrence LaVerne and her son Dennis Hansen. She is survived by her son Jerry Dean Hansen and wife Linda, of Buckeye, AZ; five grandchildren: Nicole Hansen of Broken Arrow, OK, Chris Hansen of Houston, TX, Daniel Hansen of El Cajon, CA, Darin Hansen of Avondale, AZ, and Amanda Palacios of Avondale, AZ; 13 great grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made in Thelma’s name to Companion Hospice or the American Cancer Society in care of Palmer Marler Funeral Home. PO BOX 189. Perry, OK 73077
