Jimmy Loyde Hammons, a resident of Tecumseh, was born January 28, 1952, and passed away April 14, 2016.
He was born in Shawnee and spent 64 years there.
He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Ted and Phyllis Hammons.
Surviving family includes eight brothers and sisters and their spouses and step-grandchildren, a number of nieces, nephews, greats, great-greats, and friends.
Memorial service will be at 5:00 p.m., Sunday, April 17, at Church of the Firstborn on 801 N. Center Street in Shawnee.
