ENID, Okla. — Funeral for Cody James Hamm, 23-year-old Enid resident, will be 1 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 17, 2013, at Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. John McLemore will officiate. A private family burial will take place at a later date.
He is survived by his parents, Tracie Hamm of Enid; Burl Hamm Jr. of Enid; two brothers, Garret Craig Hamm and Dylan Cale Hamm, both of Enid; maternal grandparents, Stuart and Kathiann Long of Enid; paternal grandmother, Shirley Hamm of Enid; great-grandmother, Jean Long of Enid; and great-grandfather, Stan Harris and wife Betty of Enid.

Cody was born September 7, 1990 in Enid to Burl and Traci (Long) Hamm and died Friday, October 13, 2013 in St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center. He attended local schools and graduated from Enid High School with the class of 2009. After graduation Cody worked on several construction site, Jumbo Foods, and recently at Jiffy Lube.
He enjoyed fishing, loved animals, but his passion was skateboarding.
He is survived by his parents, Traci Hamm, of Enid, anf Burl Hamm Jr., also of Enid. two brothers; Garret Craig Hamm and Dylan Cale Hamm, both of Enid. Maternal grandparents Stuart and Kathiann Long, of Enid. Paternal grandmother Shirley Hamm of Enid, and great-grandmother Jean Long, of Enid. Great-grandfather Stan Harris and wife Betty, also of Enid. He is also survived by numerous aunts and uncles.
He was preceded in death by his maternal great grand-dad Dr. James Long, his grandmother Sandra Ellen Clark, and his paternal grandfather, Burl Oren Hamm.
Memorials may be made through the funeral home to the Skate Park of Enid.
