Marjorie May (Whatmoor) Hamilton
October 15, 1925 ~ August 16, 2015

Marjorie Hamilton, 89 year old Woodward resident, departed this life on Sunday, August 16, 2015 in the Grace Living Center in Woodward, just two months shy of her 90th birthday. There will be a private family gathering to honor Marjorie�s life at a later date.

Marjorie May (Whatmoor) Hamilton was born October 15, 1925 in London, England to Jack and Mary Whatmoor. She was united in marriage to James Richard Hamilton on March 4, 1947 in Taloga, Oklahoma. To this union they had two children, the loves of Marjorie�s life; a daughter Cherryll Christine and a son Raymond. The family farmed south of Fargo for a while before moving to Woodward in 1957.

Marjorie worked many years for Woodward Public Schools in the cafeteria and also at the Ft. Supply Hospital as an aide. She enjoyed knitting and made many beautiful afghans for her children and grandchildren. Marjorie loved going back to her beloved country of England to visit her brothers, cousins, and friends. She always came home with beautiful gifts for her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband Richard Hamilton on October 27, 1998, a daughter Cherryll Mullins, granddaughter Kimberely, two brothers, Gerry Whatmoor and Gordon Whatmoor.

Survivors include her son Raymond Hamilton and wife Sharon of Foss Lake; grandchildren, Lisa Mulins and partner Rick Lowery, Rhonda and Terry Kinsey, Brian Mullins, Kelly and Doug Smith, Brendy and Ruben Bell, and Dustin and Brandi Hamilton; twelve great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; one brother Ray McKenzie and wife Peggy of England; many nieces, nephews, and her friends from Grace Living Center and the Senior Citizens Center and her very caring neighbors.

The family will be at Marjorie's grandson, Dustin Hamilton at 4705 Sage Drive from 12-4 on Tuesday, August 18, 2015.
