Karen Elaine (Martin) Hamilton, of Prague, passed away on January 26, 2023 at the age of 59. Karen was born on January 12, 1964 in Prague, Oklahoma. She was the daughter of Glenn Dale Martin and Freda Lavon Bailey. Karen grew up in Paden and was a 1982 graduate of Paden High School.
Karen worked for many years as a Pilot Vehicle Operator. She loved being on the road and seeing the country. Her work took her all over the United States and even into Canada. She escorted many large trucks throughout the countryside, she even escorted a NASA Space Shuttle across the US to California.
In her spare time, Karen enjoyed spending time with her family. She enjoyed taking her daughter and her friends on weekend get aways. One of her favorite places to take them was to Branson. She was a skilled cook and enjoyed providing delicious meals to her family and friends. She was always up for a game of Phase 10. While she would never admit it, she also loved spoiling the family dogs.
Karen was preceded in death by her father, Glenn Dale Martin, her stepmother, Evelyn Martin; her mother, Freda Lavon Bailey; her husband, Roger Hamilton; her stepsister, Debbie Heaton; her nephew, Dustin Coleman and her niece, Carmalisa Holley.
She is survived by her daughter, Kayla Martin of the home; Kayla's boyfriend, Matt Burger; one brother, Butch Martin and his wife, Ladonna of Prague; one sister, Glenda Case and her husband, Max of Paden; one stepsister, Darla Johnson and her husband, Richard; one stepbrother-in-law, David Heaton and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
