A memorial service will be held for Darrol Eugene Hamblin, 57, at 2 p.m. Saturday, February 2, 2008, at Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home Chapel. Tony Crispo will officiate. Darrol was cremated per his wishes.
He was born September 13, 1950, in Enid, OK to Charles A. and Marleta Webster Hamblin and died Tuesday, January 29, 2008, at his home.
He was a graduate of Enid High School. He married Michele Henderson on December 16, 1972, in Enid, OK. He served in the United Sates Army from 1969-1972. Darrol was employed by Hackney for nearly 39 years. He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying hunting, fishing and wildlife watching. He thoroughly enjoyed time spent with family and friends. Darrol was a wonderful husband to Michele and a dedicated father to Kyle.
He is survived by his wife, Michele, of the home; and son, Kyle David Hamblin; brother, Douglas L. Hamblin; and sister, Diana Bonniksen, both of Enid.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sisters, Denice Moore and Lydia Hamblin.
