Frankie Don Hale 80, of Bonham, Texas passed away March 10, 2024 at Texoma Medical Center in Denison, Texas. Don was born in Spur, Texas August 11, 1943 to Frank and Alice Barkley Hale of Spur, Texas. He was a farmhand and ran the families Hales Gulf Service in Spur and the Coca Cola company before the draft in 1967.
He had numerous careers, business owner and oilfield worker and was an Army Veteran serving in Germany and Korea and was a part of the 44th Engineers and the Broken Heart Division which was the proudest part of his life. He was a Lifetime member of the VFW and the American Legion Post 62 in Denison, Texas.
He was preceded in death by Parents Frank and Alice Hale.
He is survived by Three Sons Jeff Hale and wife Elaine of Colbert, Oklahoma, Chris Hale of Sherman, Texas and Jamey Hale of Ft. Stockton, Texas. Grandchildren Ashlee Gorakie and husband Derrick of Sherman, Texas, Emily and Savannah Benoit of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Taylon Hammonds of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, Tiffany Wrenn and husband Josh and Chris and Cassidy Bullard and Travis and Haley Bullard all of Colbert, Oklahoma. Amber and Jordan Love of Sherman, Texas. Numerous Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren the list as long as 22 at this time.
Family and Friends are welcome to attend A Celebration of Life for Frankie Don Hale from 1-4 p.m. Sunday afternoon March 17, 2024 at the American Legion Post 62 located at 419 West Crawford, Denison, Texas.
