Zoe Ann (Cook) Halcrombe
July 15, 1957 ~ October 9, 2024

Zoe Ann (Cook) Halcrombe, passed away peacefully in Ralston, Oklahoma on October 9, 2024, at the age of 67. Born on July 15, 1957, in Pawhuska, Oklahoma, to Louis and Mary (Coleman) Cook; she was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend to all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Zoe dedicated many years of her life as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), where her commitment to patient care shone through. Her professional journey was marked by a deep sense of responsibility and an innate ability to connect with those she cared for.

She carried a profound love for life that transcended the everyday. She found joy in the little things, from the thrill of a fishing trip to the excitement of visiting casinos, backroading, and attending concerts. A devoted fan of Hank Williams Jr., she attended his shows an astounding 23 times, filling her years with music and memories. Zoe’s adventurous spirit led her on whimsical journeys to search for Bigfoot, showcasing her playful and imaginative heart. Her passion extended to her beloved dogs, whom she cherished as her own children, nurturing them with the same love and attention she offered her human family.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her daughters, Christy Wright, Cody and husband Caleb Kennedy, and her son Caleb and wife Kim Cook. Zoe's legacy continues through her grandchildren, Joby and wife Haley Looney, Jacob Cook, Colt Cook, Ruger Cook, Remington Cook, Dennis Kennedy, Derrick Kennedy, and William Wright. And two great-grandchildren: Talon Looney and Rhett Looney. The joy and pride they each brought to her life are irreplaceable gifts. As well as her brother Charles Cook, and sister-in-law, Karen. Her extended family, filled with numerous nieces and nephews, also carries her spirit and memory.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Mary Cook; her sister, Dawn Morris; her precious grandson, Barrett Cook; and her great-nephew, Noah Cook.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Hunsaker-Wooten Funeral Home of Fairfax, Oklahoma. A private family memorial service will be held at a later date to honor Zoe.
