Gary Dean Hair was born April 26, 1948 to Clyde Hair and Tommie King Hair in Ada, Oklahoma. He left this earth on October 8, 2024 in Shawnee, Oklahoma with family by his side. The Hair family later moved to Shawnee, Oklahoma where Gary attended Shawnee public schools.
Gary was preceded in death by his mother Tommie Hair, his father Clyde Hair, and his nephew Joshua Hair. Gary leaves behind his brother Mike Hair, his sister Deborah (Deb) Cole and husband Robert and Mark Hair and wife Mary.
Nieces and nephews include Jeremy Hair and wife Virginia, Ashley Contreras and husband Robert. Great nieces and nephews that dearly loved their uncle Gary included Brianna, Charity, Mallory and Jeremiah Hair of Seminole, OK. Joshua, Jackson and Jayson Hair of Shawnee, OK and Avery and Lincoln Contreras of Corona, CA.
Gary was an avid Oklahoma Sooner and Dallas Cowboys fan.
May you rest in peace Gary. Boomer Sooner!! Until we meet again.
In lieu of flowers the family ask you to send a memorial to The American Diabetes Association or the charity of your choice.
A celebration of life will be held at 2:00 pm, Wednesday, October 16, 2024 at Resthaven Funeral Home. Gary loved the OU Sooners and would love if you wore any OU Sooner apparel to his Celebration of Life.
