Laverne - Mrs. Ida Rebecca Haines, 82, died Wednesday in a Beaver hospital following a brief illness.
Her funeral will be at 10:30 AM Saturday in the Follett Chapel Church in Follett, Texas, where she was a member.
Officiating ministers will be the pastor, the Rev. M. D. Methvin and the Rev. Marcus Adair of Canyon, Texas. Mrs. Haines will be buried in Fairmont Cemetery at Follett, with the Seeger Funeral Home of Laverne in charge of arrangements.
She was born January 21, 1898, in Cloud County, Kansas, and at the age of nine moved with her family to Lipscomb County, Texas. After her marriage to Verdon Haines March 28, 1920, they lived in Follett, Catesby and Logan until his retirement in August, 1962, when they moved to Darrouzett, Texas.
Her husband died August 7, 1972. Mrs. Haines was also preceded in death by two daughters, Marjorie and Pearl; two infant sons and a grandson, Joe Lamunyon.
She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Roland (Lynnette) Flock of Darrouzett and Mrs. Deryl (Edith) Lamunyon of Logan; three brothers, Eldon Hostutler and David Hostutler, both of Higgins, Texas, and Asa Hostutler, Richardson, Texas; three sisters, Mrs. Ethel Cloud of Higgins, Mrs. Violetta Price, Independence, Kansas, and Dorit Setliff, Mathis, Texas; five grandchildren and eight great – grandchildren.
