Vesta Anna Hailey, 81, passed away on Tuesday, June 4, 2019.
She was born on October 4, 1937 to parents James Marshall and Mabel Marshall.
Later, she married the love of her life Everett D. Hailey on December 30, 1965. They decided to keep their hometown their forever home. Vesta worked at Jane Phillips Medical Hospital as a nurse aide but was also a hard-working mother to five children. June 2011 Vesta had lost her husband of forty-five years.
Vesta loved to go to church, auctions, and garage sales. She enjoyed being outdoors watching the birds and crocheting. If she was inside, you can always count on old westerns being on the T.V. She was very proud of her family and her family was proud of her. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Vesta is survived by her two daughters, Mable Lackey and husband Dave, Dianna Jefferson, sons; James "?Butch", Wright, Ace Hailey, and Robert Hailey and wife Penny. Sister, Maudie Loraine Bauman. She also had thirteen grandchildren; Michael Lackey, Wayne Lackey, Alanzo Carter, Gerrado Ortiz, Xavier Jefferson, Jonathan Wright, Sedaiea Wright, Lona Ware, Mandy Fairman, Tory Hailey, Holly Hailey, Lacie Hailey, and Casie Hailey, thirty-two great grandchildren, and four great-great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband, parents, son; Nathan Wright, sister; Opal Alta (Pat Roe), brother, LB Stanton and Jack Stanton.
