Stella Anna Haile was born in Bristow, OK on October 4, 1955 to Elmer and Josephine (Freeman) Goodwin, and passed away on December 26, 2022.
Ann graduated Stroud High School in 1974. She married Billy Dale Haile,
Jr on May 10, 1974 in Sherman, TX. Ann really loved helping her community
when and where she could. Ann worked at Stroud Schools for many years in
many different roles. She was a familiar face to many kids who walked the
halls. Ann sometimes acted like a kid herself which is probably why she
connected so well to the kids she got to be around. She really loved getting
to work with kids with special needs. For a while, Ann got into baking cakes
for those special to her and also making wreaths. If you knew Ann, you also
knew she had a love for peacocks and their beauty. Ann had a special
relationship with her grandkids, one that will be deeply missed. Ann’s kind
spirit will be missed by all.
Ann is preceded in death by her husband,
Billy; her son Allen; and her parents.
Ann is survived by her son Robert Haile and wife Sarah; grandsons Carter, Zane and Dax Haile; special sister JoAnn Weeks; sister Elma Lee Goodwin; brother Tommy Goodwin; as well as many extended families and a host of friends.
