Elizabeth Hale Haggard age 82 was called home to be with her Heavenly Father on August 27th, 2014. Liz was born on July 6th, 1932 in Norman, Oklahoma the daughter of the late Walter James Hale and Annie Azzie Hale.
Liz had two passions in life her Family and OU football. She was the loving mother of five children, whom she worked for tirelessly and loved endlessly. She enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brothers and other family members on the week-ends, watching football, sharing meals and laughter at the lake or family/friends house. Momma always looked forward to the holidays because that was her favorite time of the year and knowing all her beloved family would be there sharing good food, stories, memories, lots of hugs, pictures and good times. Football season was also one of her favorites family and friends could always find her beside a radio or in front of the TV, cheering on her Oklahoma Sooners and some of our best memories was of her on game day. Family and friends were always welcome to have a seat But two requirements was you had to cheer for the Sooners and cheer with everything you got until the very end of the game. So we all know she has the best seat in heaven cheering on her Sooners and watching over her Family.
She is survived by her children with Richard Smith - son, Michael Smith and wife Joanne of Benicia, CA: daughter, Sandra Corbin and husband Robert of Newcastle, OK: son, Terry Smith and wife Beverly of Edmond, OK: son, Scott Smith and wife Dee-Dee of Moore, OK: and her son, David Upton and wife Katie of Holcomb, KS. Liz is always survived by her brother, Walter Hale and wife Nina of Del City, OK and her sister , Reba Page of Madera, CA. Fourteen grandchildren- Candice, Hunter, Jason, Jeremy, Ryan, Josh, September and husband Tanner Lambert Cara, Shelby and husband Conner Reynolds, Branch, Davis, Skyla, Carter, Ean. We would like to say a special thanks to our Aunt Pauline Hale for her love, support and being there for our Mom... God Bless you.

Liz will be greatly missed by so many but in our hearts forever!!! RIP MOMMA/GRANDMA
