Larry Leon Hager, 65, of Blanchard died Tuesday, August 27, 2013 at his home. He was born July 10, 1948 in Oklahoma City.
Larry graduated from Blanchard High School in 1966 and retired from the U.S. Postal Service. He married Carol Lynn Goucher on October 15, 1976 in Oklahoma City. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Blanchard. Larry enjoyed horse racing and was an avid sports fan. He especially enjoyed watching the Dallas Cowboys and OU football teams. Larry spent countless hours attending his children's sporting events, even coaching many of their teams.
He was preceded in death by his father, R. L. Sullivan and a special aunt, Loretta Brown.
He is survived by his wife, Carol Hager of Blanchard; two daughters, Julie Treadwell and husband, Jason, of Frederick and Lisa Walden and husband, Ronnie, of Blanchard; two sons, Rodney Hager and wife, Kendra, of Dibble and Brett Hager and wife, Amy, of Texas; eight grandchildren, Colton and Kylee Hager, Jacob and Matthew Hood, Kimber and Kent Treadwell and Katelyn and Nikki Walden; and one great grandchild on the way; his mother, Winona Sullivan of Edmond; two brothers, Rick Hager and wife, Barbara, of Blanchard and Rocky Sullivan of Texas; three sisters, Bobbie Presson and husband, Bill, of Oklahoma City, Brenda Kirkham of Newcastle and Tammy Dillard and husband, Andy, of Edmond; and many other loved ones and friends.
Funeral service will be held at 10:00 A.M., Friday, August 30, 2013 at the Eisenhour Funeral Home Chapel in Blanchard. Arrangements are under the direction of Eisenhour Funeral Home. Online obituary and guestbook available at www.eisenhourfh.com.
