Jerry Joe Hager, 65, of Blanchard, died Monday, August 7, 2017, at his home. The son of John Raymond Hager and Billie Jo (Hustead) Hager, he was born October 2, 1951 in Clovis, New Mexico.
Jerry owned and operated J&B Pipe Supply for over 40 years and also owned and operated a Little Caeser's Pizza franchise in Wyoming for 15 years. Jerry married Peggy Evelyn Geist in Hutchinson, Kansas on September 2, 1970. He loved being outdoors and enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and travelling.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Peggy Hager of Blanchard; two daughters, Kelly Howerton and her husband, Brian, of Colorado and Kimberly Hager of Colorado; two grandchildren, Kaitlyn and McKenzy Howerton of Colorado; one sister, Joni Wright and her husband, Randy, of Oklahoma City; four brothers, John Hager and his wife, Rosie, of Choctaw, Bo Hager and his wife, Dottie, of Norman, Mike Hager and his wife, Diana, of Choctaw, and Kenny Hager and his wife, Kim, of Montana; numerous nieces and nephews; and many other relatives and friends.
A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Eisenhour Funeral Home of Blanchard.
